TCP Tuesday Challenge - Friendship

Hey there, kitty kat fans!

There's a new challenge up and running today, TCP Tuesday Challenge #321: Paper Piecing!  

I love playing with paper, as most of you probably already know.  

I cut the Lacey Butterfly and Square Stamps CutUps in a variety of paper patterns and layered them up to create a beautiful display for a friend.  The sentiment from the Friendship stamp set finishes off this card perfectly!

The "dog days" of summer remind me of back to school...and it is a bittersweet time for the Schafer household.  It's the end of our summer freedom, but a fresh new school year ahead.  I'm going to pack this in my sweet girl's lunch bag on the first day back to school!   Yeah, I think she's pretty awesome!  

I used the flowers and sentiment from the Simply Amazing stamp set, stamping the partial sentiment over the Flourished Tag Die Set, and stamping the flowers in a muted aqua behind the tag.  To finish of the card front, I added "fantastic" from the Amazing Adjectives Word Die Set, a double butterfly from the Butterfly Dreams Die Set, and some leaves from the Sprightly Sprigs Die Set.

The Cat's Pajamas - Splashing in to say "HI!"

Hey there, TCP fans!

Have you checked out the latest TCP Tuesday Challenge #320 yet?!  It's all about one of my favorite summer things...WATER!  

I grabbed this adorable new stamp set, Friendship, and used the super fun fishing image and coordinating sentiment for an all occasion card!  The Comic Balloons CutUps reminded me of a splash of water, so I added it for some extra movement and interest!

To finish off the card, I added a wood veneer banner with some loopy twine!

SugarPea Designs - Sweet Peek June Release Day 2

Here's a closeup of the sugary goodness on my card!  What a fun card to make!  I stamped the popsicles and ice cream cone with some yummy colors, stamping off for the lighter of the shades. 
The sentiment is displayed in contrasting black ink and placed over lots of SugarCuts layers!  I used the previously released Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles, Zig Zag Stitched Circles and Chatterbox Journal Card SugarCuts then added some sequin sprinkles to finish it off.

The Cat's Pajamas - TCP Tuesday Challenge

Hey there, kitty lovers!

Today marks a new challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas!

This time we are challenged to create a project using Red, White, Blue Sparkle!  Just in time for the 4th of July in the USA!

I grabbed a couple of products from The Cat's Pajamas that reminded me of the holiday coming up...a 4th of July party usually calls from lemonade and vodka, right?!

I stamped the two phrases from the Lemons stamp set to create the focal panel and accented with a couple of sparkly Comic Balloons explosions!

Verve Stamps - Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hey there, Verve fans...and COFFEE fans!

I whipped up a new summer/coffee card to play along the new Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using some Verve Stamps goodness!

After I found some fun summery paper, I picked out some super fun Verve from my stash.  I paired up two fabulous COFFEE-themed stamp sets, Coffee and Get Together.  The dies that I used from Verve Stamps are Cuppa Joe Die Set, Stitched Pennants Die Set and Partly Cloudy Die Set.

There are a couple of amazing sales at the Verve store that you won't want to pass up!

Here is a closeup shot of my SUMMER/COFFEE card.. LOVE that pennant, sun and coffee cup cluster...no matter how hot the summer gets, I gotta have my morning (and afternoon) coffee!

SugarPea Designs - Hugs

Hey there, SugarPeeps!

I was in the mood for a crisp and clean card using lots of white with a splash of color.  My SugarPea Designs goodies were perfect to whip up the look I was going for.  

I used all of these SPD goodies on my card today!

• Stamps: Chatterbox Sentiments
• SugarCut Dies: Chatterbox Journal Card, Zig Zag Stitched Circles, Pineapple Paradise
• Other SPD Supplies:  Whatever the Weather Patterned Paper Collection, Lily White Sparkly Shaker Sequins

After cutting the paper down a quarter inch to use as the card background panel, I cut some vellum circles, a pineapple, "hugs" word, and a banner.  The sentiment was stamped over the vellum using some pigment ink...works great on vellum!  Once all the main elements were placed, I finished it off with some baker's twine and a sprinkling of sequins.
