Bloom to Grow - Viva la Verve & Cardabilities

Who's ready for spring?!  Oh, boy!  I am SO ready!  This stamp set, Bloom & Grow, from Verve Stamps makes me happy and exudes the feeling of spring!

The Viva la Verve February Week 3 included this gorgeous inspiration photo!  I adore the black and white with splash of green and pink floral!

There's also a brand-new Cardabilities sketch up and running today...#94!  It is the perfect sketch to show off those darling flowers from Bloom to Grow and my new banner dies!  The Pink Elephant's Challenge this week is to use PINK... got that covered!

I inked up the leaves and flowers from Verve's Bloom & Grow with distress inks, stamped onto some crisp white card stock, then die cut them with their coordinating dies, Elegant Leaves and Floral Circles. That fabulous Pennant Trim, Banner Bundle and Flag It work together perfectly to create a collaging and dimensional effect!  The beautiful sentiment from Bloom & Grow was stamped over one of the banners at a vertical angle for some extra interest!  LOVE my Verve!

I added a few embellishments from Pretty Pink Posh, too!  The aqua twine and sequins are ultra fabulous!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

A LOVE-ing Farewell - The Pink Elephant

It is a bittersweet day for me!
Today is my last post as a designer at The Pink Elephant!
I have LOVED every single challenge, every single Monday over the last year and a half...and even longer as a participant!  I will be stopping by TPE often to play along as much as I can!

Without further ado...this week's challenge at The Pink Elephant is a LOVE THEME!

The January Color Palette Challenge and the Weekly Sketch Challenge #160 at My Favorite Things worked great for my LOVE-themed card today!  Really Reasonable Ribbon #87: Valentine/Love Theme is up and running this week, too!

Did you notice the stenciled/spritzed background on my card?  The Online Card Class: Stenciled was a great reminder to use my sprays and stencils again:)

There's no stamping on my card, but there is INK, spray ink on the background!  I layered up some fun Studio Calico Print Shop papers, vellum, and MFT die cuts, along with a doily, some ribbon, and enamel dots!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Secret Admirer Package - Thanks, Kim!

Good morning!

Some of the gals from the Curtain Call Crew and I had a little "Secret Admirer" Valentine's Day package swap!  My "crush" should be receiving here package later this week...but, check out some of the goodies that my admirer, Kim Sindahlsen from Joyful Creations with Kim, sent to me!  EVERYTHING I LOVE...and all new to me stuff!

Everything on my card today is from my fun package!  Wow!  AND...there's so much to use that I'm going to be layering these goodies up for quite some time!  THANKS SO MUCH, Kim!  I adore it all and feel extremely spoiled!

There's a new COLOR CHALLENGE over at The Pink Elephant Challenge today...Red, Pink and another color of choice!  PERFECT for Valentine's Day projects!

Since Kim sent me all of these fabulous die cuts, I thought I'd dive right in create a collage of Valentine goodness!  I really like this free-style collaging...takes me back to my younger days creating valentines for my classmates in elementary school!  Remember the fun of cutting and gluing all of those sweet things together for your besties?!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!
