Three little words...so very sorry ~ SFYTT

Jen Del Muro at I {Heart} to Stamp has a Valentine's Sketch For You To Try and it was the perfect inspiration I needed to make this card. I made especially for a family that we know just lost their dog of 14 years...such a sad thing to go through.

Here's the inside of the card...simple and sweet;)

The Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities are the largest that I own, but then I realized I should've used my Stampin' Up! Scallop Oval Die to make the side panel larger...shoot! The letter T was colored in using Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write Marker.

Stamps: Three Little Words
Paper: Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White CS, Tea Party DSP
Ink: Basic Gray, Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write Marker
Other: Oval & Scallop Oval Nestabilities, Pretty in Pink Corduroy Brads, Linen Thread, Scallop Edge Punch, Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon

So Very Sorry

I've missed participating in the various challenges at my favorite blogs. With this card, I used Karen Giron's Sweetest Sunday Sketch Challenge #40 and the Color Challenge at Our Creative Corner that encorporates Soft Suede, Handsome Hunter, Sage Shadow and Blush Blossom. I'm happy with how this sympathy card turned out...soft and subtle.

This Sage Shadow card base measures 3" X 6" with a 3" main panel of Blush Blossom loaded with 3/4" circle punches stamped with the Circle Circus stamp set, and a 3 1/2" Scalloped Edge mat of Handsome Hunter wrapped with Soft Suede Polka Dot ribbon tied in a square knot. The sentiment stamped in the lower left corner is from The Three Little Words stamp set.

Stamps: Circle Circus, Three Little Words
Paper: Sage Shadow, Handsome Hunter, Blush Blossom, Very Vanilla CS
Ink: Soft Suede, Handsome Hunter
Other: 3/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain, Stampin' Dimensionals

I Miss You ~ FTL #42 & CTD #42

Here are the two challenges that I used on my card. The Fall-to Layout #42 from Clean & Simple Stamping blog and the Color Throwdown #42 from the Color Throwdown blog are a perfect pair for this "I Miss You" card. Maybe I cheated a little by adding Old Olive to the flower stems.

I'm going to be teaching in a different building next year and even though I'm excited about the change, I'm going to miss so many of the girls that I work with. This card goes out to them, since I feel like I miss them already!

For the card, I used the Tempting Turquoise & Old Olive Stampin' Write markers to color the rubber before stamping it on Whisper White. The flowers were cut out and propped up on dimensionals and then adhered to the Confetti cardstock panel. Did you notice two of the three colors from the CTD42 are the same as my Jewelry Color Inspiration Challenge #36...the So Saffron & Tempting Turquoise?

Stamps: Three Little Words
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, So Saffron, Confetti, Whisper White CS, Jackpot DSP
Ink: Black Stazon, Old Olive & Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Write Markers
