Countdown to Confetti - In a Big Way

Hey there!   It's time for the second day of Countdown to Confetti!
A brand-new Reverse Confetti release is coming soon!

The new stamp set, In a Big Way, is definitely a MUST HAVE for a card-maker!  It has a wonderful variety of sentiments and the most delightful fonts!

In a Big Way
Confetti Cuts Tagged Tote

Here is the sketch from Cardabilities #106 that inspired my card!

The Catered Crop Recipe Swap: New Again calls for digging through your stash for items that have come, gone, come back, or left for good!  The first thing I thought of using was my crimping tool, then I remembered that I had a pad of kraft corrugated paper that shows the effect of a crimping tool!  Join us in using some of your old stash and making it "new again!"

Check back with us tomorrow and Sunday for more FABULOUS peeks at the new Reverse Confetti release!  Mark your calendars for September 8th!  Why?!  Because EIGHT IS GREAT...and that is Reverse Confetti Blog Hop Day!

The new Confetti Cuts Tagged Tote is PHENOMINAL!  I'm seriously IN LOVE with this new die...not only is it the CUTEST little treat tote, but I'm loving how it looks like an arched window and makes the perfect layer and background on cards!  An In a Big Way sentiment and Petals 'n Posies were stamped and die cut with Confetti Cuts Petals ' Posies to create a bit of an arbor look near the top of the arched layers!

Now, make sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti Blog for a link list of all the designers who are showing off Sammy, too!  You won't want to miss a beat!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Happy Birthday - Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop

I had a ball creating this birthday card from my Papertrey Ink stash for
I received the Monthly Moments Journal Card in my last order, so I cut it apart and used it as part of my background...the colors are perfect for today's inspiration collage!

The cardabilities sketch #99 worked well to create a fun birthday collage of my own!

The butterfly and sentiments stamps are from Papertrey Ink's Be Happy Stamp Set and the butterfly, frame and border dies are from the coordinating Be Happy Die Set.  I added a bit of Circle Scribbles Die Set to the birthday cluster, too!

After a few Pretty Pink Posh Mint & Sparkling Clear sequins were sprinkled about, the card is ready for a special friend!
