Be Mine Always - Uniko Studio Sketch Challenge

Good morning!
It's time for a new challenge at Uniko Studio!  This month, Gayatri created a fabulous sketch to inspire us!  Head on over to the Uniko Studio Blog to see what the other talented designers whipped up for today!  While you're there, check out all of the challenge details and play along with us!

I went to town with the combinations of some of my favorite Uniko Studio stamp sets!  Each set pictured below had the PERFECT image or sentiment to create a subtle backsplash for my Valentine card!

I was also inspired by the ColourQ Challenge #224 and Friday Mashup #143!

I stamped (collage-style) several hearts, arrows, and sentiments from Uniko Studio using some pretty distress inks on a piece of white cardstock, then placed a vellum overlay and secured with some stitching.  The "Always" sentiment was stamped over the vellum and then again onto an aqua heart die cut...the heart propped up over a nest of thread.  Lastly, a few Pretty Pink Posh Silver Heart Confetti sequins were scattered about to create some movement!

Hope you'll have a chance to play along at Uniko Studio Blog with the sketch challenge this month!  You have until February 14th and a chance to win some Uniko Studio of your own.
Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Uniko Studio November Challenge - Christmas/Winter

Good morning!  There's a new challenge up and running over at the Uniko Studio Blog and it's all about Christmas and Winter!  There's a prize and a guest designer position up for grabs!

I used these two Uniko Studio stamp sets...Pure Florals: Poinsettia and All Occasions Sentiments #4!

The Sketchbook Saturday #109 was a great layout to feature the beautiful vellum poinsettia flower!

I heat embossed the poinsettia flower on vellum card stock with white embossing powder, then fussy cut the flower to flash its amazing detail!  The papers were trimmed and adhered to the card front with a little bit of stitching, then sentiment was stamped, twine bow added, and sequins sprinkled!  Viola!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Good morning and TGIF, everyone!  To get the weekend off to a fabulous start, I have some fabulous challenges to share with you...Uniko Studio's Challenge #4: Fall Foliage and...

The stamps I inked up for today's card are from Uniko Studio's Pure Florals: Gerbera...I say...Gorgeous Gerbera!  Seriously, folks...if you have not checked out Uniko Studio stamps and dies, you ARE missing out!  They are absolutely beautiful and give fabulous results with little effort!

This card came together quickly and easily...inked up the flower and leaves in dark brown ink and stamped onto some pretty patterned paper...fussy cut those delicate leaves and adhered to the main flower panel...a few do-dads later...and DONE!

Uniko Studio September Challenge - Washi Tape

There's a new challenge up and running over at Uniko Studio!  This month, we challenge you to use WASHI TAPE!  Head on over to see what the other Uniko Studio girls whipped up using some Washi Tape!

I used a few of my favorite stamps and dies from Uniko Studio, Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum Stamps and Designer Dies, and Graphic Flower Designer Dies!

The Sketchbook Saturday #105 and Cupcake Inspirations Challegne #228 provided just the right layout and color scheme to show off some Uniko Studio and WASHI TAPE!  The Seize the Birthday challenge is all about Toppings and Really Reasonable Ribbon: Shabby Chic & Ribbon challenge is up and running, too!

I had to steal this image from my friend, Jen Mitchell!  It's perfect, don't you think?

To create the flower, I die cut the Graphic Flower die with white cardstock and used the negative to display Washi tape inside.  The leaves were die cut with Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum dies, then stamped, adhered...and embellished with ribbon, button and twine!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Uniko Studio Challenge #1 - Hello

uniko challenge 1

Great news!  Uniko Studio will now be hosting their own monthly challenge...this month's theme is "Hello!"  How fun would it be to get to know each other a little better?!

Random fact about me:  My husband and I are the product of a blind date...dated for 18 months while 3 hours away from one another!  Now, here we are, just celebrated our 17th anniversary...and with three kiddos and a full life together!

From Uniko Studio's Today, Tomorrow & Always TIME stamp set, I used the pocket watch image as part of the background on my patterned paper panel (see it peeking out above the tag and ribbon?) and the HELLO and FRIEND sentiments in a fun way!

Make sure you stop by the other gals' blogs to see their fabulous "Hello" projects!

A couple of challenge got my mojo flowing for this "HELLO" card...Cardabilities #79 and ColourQ #198

I received a big box of discounted goodies from Glitz this week and I fell in love with the paper that I used on my card...Uncharted Waters...gorgeous blues and neutrals with pops of pink and yellow!
