SugarPea Designs - Creative Color Challenge #5

Hey there, SugarPeeps!

There's a FUN new Creative Color Challenge up and running today over at the SugarPea Designs Blog!  A perfect challenge that's packed with festive colors just in time for HALLOWEEN projects!

I used these AWESOME SugarPea Designs stamps and SugarCuts today!

Oh my word!  SugarPea Designs is the most fun to work with and projects come together in a snap!  I put together a little Halloween-themed birthday card!  My sweet girl turns 11 in October and this card is  going to her!  She'll get a kick out of it, I think!  We are, after all, big Walking Dead fans!

The bats were cut from SugarCuts - Stitched Autumn Icons and placed over a SugarCuts - Scattered Stars Journal Card.  A medium-sized SugarCuts - Zig Zag Stitched Circles is peeking from the back of the main panel for a bit of contrast.  The zombie girl and sentiment from Undying Love were stamped in black ink over textured white card stock, cut and placed together for a focal pair.

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Hop on over to the SugarPea Designs Blog to see what the other SugarChics whipped up with the new Creative Color Challenge!

Love the bright cheery colours - such a fun card. Have lots of testimonies. Two recent ones include when my daughter was away for a two week trip to Europe and got sick the first day of the trip and then again mid way through. Was heart breaking talking to her on the phone as she was sobbing and just wanted to come home. We prayed on the phone many a time and had many others praying for her health and anxiety while away. Best comment from her: I know people are praying as I can feel God in a very real way :)

Second is from a year ago when I was beginning to think about looking for part time work after I closed my daycare due to my kids being in high school. Was at the chiros office and heard him say he had to review resumes. Asked him about it and said one of the girls was leaving to get full time work. I came home, talked to the family, sent in my resume before dinner and after dinner got an e-mail saying the job was mine if I wanted it. Such an amazing example of God's timing and faithfulness. I LOVE my job to this day and can't think of working anywhere else. Extra income is a huge blessing, not to mention a fabulous boss and a great job share partner.

Viva la Verve - Groovy

Hi there, Verve fans!
It's time for a new Viva la Verve sketch!  Hope you'll head on over to the Viva la Verve Sketches Blog and play along with us!

LOVE these cheerful colors of my card!  I stamped Verve's "groovy" and "peace" sentiments from the Surely Goodness stamp set here and there over the ABC panel, clustered a couple of flowers from the coordinating Goodness Flowers Die Set  and embellished with a tied button.  The Flourished Tag Die Set is peeking out from the top and bottom of the focal panel!  Love that little guy...so versatile!
