You'll Forever Be My Always - Catered Crop

Hi there, Catered Crop fans!
The Music Expressions Recipe Swap challenge is up and running!

I didn't realize how often music-patterned paper is a staple to me!  When I saw the inspiration collages, I must admit that I was shocked to find several cards I have created with music patterns or themes!

When I peeked my head in the Fusion Card Challenge, I fell in love with the graphic and sketch...so my card layout and the florals on my card were inspired by it!

I used some Reverse Confetti goodies on my card today, too!

Actually, it's night time...very late, actually!  I have been swamped all week at school, but missed my crafty time so much that I headed down to the craft cave after cleaning up dinner and whipped this baby up!

The Chickaniddy Crafts Date Night collection was PERFECT to create a musically expressive card!  I grabbed another piece of black sheet music printed paper, too, from Pink Paislee London Market.  The flowers were stamped with some subtle colors and then die cut to display a bouquet or corsage, so to speak!  Date nights usually have music, right?!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

COUNT the Stars - A FUSION Farewell

Click HERE to see the brand-new Reverse Confetti SFYTT!
It's a goodie and you won't want to miss it!

As I write this, I'm feeling a little blue...the Fusion Card Challenge has been such a fun one to be a part of and I must say that I'm sad to see it go!  I made this special card today as a way of sending a heartfelt message to the fabulous design team, the challenge readers and participants alike!

Here's the amazing stamp set, Key Words Collection: Count Your Rainbows, from Reverse Confetti that I used on my card!  The sentiment is so encouraging and I thought very fitting for today's project!

I also used some beautiful new papers, Basic Grey Persimmon...that I fell in love with when seeing my buddy, Amy Tsuruta, making so much gorgeousness with them!

You will find several products on my card at the i {heart} papers store...Reverse Confetti, WPlus9 Timeless Tags, Hemptique White Hemp Cord, Basic Grey Persimmon, and Momento Black Tuxedo.

Notice any differences in my photo quality?  I recently purchased a photo tent from Amazon and I think it's brightening up my photos and giving them a sharper look!  Would love to hear your thoughts and tips for photographing paper projects!

Uniko Studio Challenge # 4 and Fusion Challenge #20

Good morning and TGIF, everyone!  To get the weekend off to a fabulous start, I have some fabulous challenges to share with you...Uniko Studio's Challenge #4: Fall Foliage and...

Fusion Card Challenge: Hypothesis #20 with great fall {and citrus} color and a great sketch, too!

Here are links to other amazing Fusion designers!

I'm also linking up to Catered Crop: Orange is the New Black, Friday Mashup #132,  and to the lovely challenge at The Shabby Tea Room: #188: FALL...lots of orange and foliage here, too!!

The stamps I inked up for today's card are from Uniko Studio's Pure Florals: Gerbera...I say...Gorgeous Gerbera!  Seriously, folks...if you have not checked out Uniko Studio stamps and dies, you ARE missing out!  They are absolutely beautiful and give fabulous results with little effort!

This card came together quickly and easily...inked up the flower and leaves in dark brown ink and stamped onto some pretty patterned paper...fussy cut those delicate leaves and adhered to the main flower panel...a few do-dads later...and DONE!
