Studio Calico is hosting a sketch challenge...this one worked great to show off my new TAWS stamp set, Deep in the Woods!

The fire image was stamped on some patterned paper and fussy cut...the sentiment was heat embossed with some white embossing powder...love the contrast of the white on the navy paper...and those fantastic wood veneer pieces give the fire life!  The stamp set, paper pad and wood veneer are all part of The Alley Way Stamps May Kit, too!

Does this card make you giggle?!  I must admit that I giggled to myself as I was coloring the bird...such a FUNny sentiment to go along with him!  The bird and coordinating sentiment are from a new May stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps called Bird Brain.  You will love it!

Craft Junction Project & Snapshots Kit Giveaway

 Good morning!  I made this special project, a post-it note holder, for our school secretary on Administrative Assistant's Day.  Isn't that cream roses trim gorgeous?!

The weather here in the midwest hasn't felt much like spring... rain and colder temperatures... but a little goody from the Craft Junction Spring Awakening Kit definitely lifted my spirits:)  This beautiful kit is still available...get it while you still can!

I'm in love with the flower on this note holder...  I punched out a circle from card stock, covered it with score-tape, then starting in the center of the circle I pressed the roses trim down firmly...threaded a button with baker's twine and glued it in the flower center...love it!

Hello - Fusion #4

Are you ready for another Fusion Challenge?!  You are going to love this one...a fabulous clean & simple sketch with a beautiful mix of florals!

I used some new goodies from My Favorite Things for my card today...the new LJD Sweet Roses stamp set, LJD Roses & Leaves dienamics, and orange fizz ink and buttons!  The April Stamp and Create Challenge: Use a Die Cut is up and running, too!

Go Retro - Be Inspired #27

Get ready to be inspired with the new totally retro challenge, Be Inspired #27 at The Alley Way Stamps blog!  I love the black background with the cool rainbow stripes and funky font!  The sentiment on my card is from the TAWS Life is Short stamp set.

I used the retrosketches 60, which was a perfect match for my "retro" card!  

 The goodies that I used on my card are from a Paper Made Bakery kit that I bought recently...just right to create a retro and funky card for the Be Inspired Challenge today!
