Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Sail On

Hey there, stamping friends!

I was inspired by the nautical theme but also the phrase, "Sail On"...reminding me of my friend who is at a turning point in her life...this card is just for her!

I grabbed some fresh new papers from Jen Hadfield's Everday pack that I picked up at the new online shop, Drive By Crafts..and some of my faith based stamps from Verve Stamps!

After stamping the Good Work sentiment as the focal point, I stamped the Good Work flowers and cut them with coordinating Good Work Flowers Die Set and nestled them together with the ship wheel from the Nautical Die Set.
Did you notice a peek of the new Stitched Pennants Die Set and a few Copper Blush Sequins with some previously released Signature Sequins?!  These tiny embellishments add just the right touch of shine and flair!

Head on over to the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Sail On and see what the other designers whipped up for today!  It is sure to be AMAZING!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Secret Admirer Package - Thanks, Kim!

Good morning!

Some of the gals from the Curtain Call Crew and I had a little "Secret Admirer" Valentine's Day package swap!  My "crush" should be receiving here package later this week...but, check out some of the goodies that my admirer, Kim Sindahlsen from Joyful Creations with Kim, sent to me!  EVERYTHING I LOVE...and all new to me stuff!

Everything on my card today is from my fun package!  Wow!  AND...there's so much to use that I'm going to be layering these goodies up for quite some time!  THANKS SO MUCH, Kim!  I adore it all and feel extremely spoiled!

There's a new COLOR CHALLENGE over at The Pink Elephant Challenge today...Red, Pink and another color of choice!  PERFECT for Valentine's Day projects!

Since Kim sent me all of these fabulous die cuts, I thought I'd dive right in create a collage of Valentine goodness!  I really like this free-style collaging...takes me back to my younger days creating valentines for my classmates in elementary school!  Remember the fun of cutting and gluing all of those sweet things together for your besties?!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

For a little extra inspiration, take a look at the new sketch, #89, at Cardabilities!  It is fantastic for a few snowflake layers!  Make sure you stop in and see what the talented gals at Cardabilities created with the new sketch today!

I'm linking up to these two fantastic challenges, also...Friday Mashup #139: It's Getting Chilly! and CAS-ology Cue Card #74: Snowflake.

I had a ball creating this card!  I used the envelope punch board to create a fun panel for the front of my card.  After stamping Uniko Studio's Stunning Snowflakes in a scattered fashion with distress inks, I added a couple of Uniko Studio's Snowflakes Dies, some sequins, a sentiment tag with button and twine treatment!

Friends Never Fade

I'm loving that Poppy Parade gingham printed DSP from the Pawsitively Prints II DSP pack! I used it as the background of my card on a Pink Pirouette card base. After punching a strip of Wild Wasabi and layering it with some Greenhouse Gala DSP, I used the sewing machine to add a little trim on it, then added some gathered Peach Parfait Poly Twill ribbon. After stamping the main image with Poppy Parade ink, adding some glitter to the flower center, I layered it onto a piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock then adhered it over the card front. Finally, a full bow was added to the gathered ribbon trim with a couple of crystal pins peeking from the top.

Stamps: Friends Never Fade
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White CS, Pawsitively Prints & Greenhouse Gala DSP
Ink: Poppy Parade
Other: Scallop Trim Punch, Peach Parfait Poly Twill Ribbon, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Crystal Pins, Sewing Machine, thread
