Verve Stamps December Release Blog Hop

Wonderful things come in small packages, I always say!  This month's release at Verve Stamps is a mini one, but no less fabulous!  How darling is this sweet Christmas bird that Julee Tilman created?!  He is the sweetest little thing, whether you color him, leave him plain, or paper piece him!  The fonts in this new Verve Stamps set, Christmas Joy, are beautiful, with a mix of block print and script!  There's a little more Verve goodness on my card...the "must have" Award Banner Trim Die!

Brand new Verve releases today and we're celebrating with a blog hop!  Hop along to each of the blogs below to see a little inspiration with the new stamps, then be sure to head on over to the Verve Store to check out Verve's Thanksgiving Sale (25% off all stamps & dies) that starts today!

Want to win some shiny new Verve? We'll be picking a random commenter on one of the hop spots below to win a $75 gift certifcate to Verve! Comment deadline for the prize drawing is Sunday, December 1.

The Monday Mojo Sketch Challenge #321 and the Just Us Girls #216 provided the inspiration I needed to whip up this Christmas card!  Now, I need to start addressing the holiday cards I've been making and getting them ready for the mail!

I've been drooling over some of the girls' use of jingle bells on their Christmas cards and projects, so when I was at Jo-Ann's this past weekend I grabbed a few bags of them!  Love these red ones...a great pair up with my favorite twine!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!  Enjoy the hop!

Love You Hannah

My dear daughter (my baby), Hannah, is graduating from preschool next week, so I made her a special card to celebrate this milestone. As I write this, I feel the tears coming, so I know I won't be able to keep it together at the graduation ceremony. With it being Mother's Day and all...wow...I wasn't this emotional when the boys finished preschool, what's wrong with me?

Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #68 was just the right one to get my card started. WIth the addition of the little scalloped envelope, my card works for the Just Us Girls Technique Challenge #32: Pocket Card and the Everything But the Kitchen Sink #14: Envelope.

The sweet little Build-a-bear image from Beary Good Friends is too stinkin' cute, don't you think? By using this cuddly image, I will also submit my card for the Pile It On Challenge #10: Cute & Cuddly. The sentiment is from the Short & Sweet stamp set and works perfect stamped on the side of this little notey note:) The color inspiration came from Rachel's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #58...love the pink, orange & green:)

Whether you have a kiddo who is, who has already, or who has yet to graduate preschool...join me today, Mother's Day, and celebrate the moments we have with our precious ones. Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Moments ~ JUGS 21 & FTL79

It's rare these days that I have time in the evening to create two cards, but I guess tonight was my lucky night! I jotted down these two challenges a few days ago...the Just Us Girls Color Challenge #21 (Raspberry, Ivory, Chocolate & Coral and the Fall-To Layout #79 at Clean & Simple.

Lately, I'm finding it more difficult to create clean & simple designs...I'm really liking all the extras:) My card seemed a little plain, so I had to add a little stitching with the sewing machine. Oh, how I'm loving my sewing machine these days...such an easy wow!

Until next time....happy stamping!
